Two motorcyclists were killed after a passenger bus rammed their vehicle in Shreerampur area of Dhamrai, on the outskirts of Dhaka on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Sajib Rishad, 21, was a student of bachelor’s degree at Devendra University College in Manikganj, son of Sagar Ali, hailing from Uttar Hatkora area of Dhamrai and Rashedul Islam, 20, student of Khan Bahadur College in Manikganj, son of Altab Hossain, from the same area.

Quoting locals, Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Golra Highway Police Station, said the Paturia-bound passenger bus of ‘Sakura Paribahan’ collided with the Dhaka-bound motorcycle coming from opposite direction on which Sajib and Rashedul were riding on Dhaka-Aricha Highway at 10:00 am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
